Hen Pen Paper Co. is a Fayetteville, AR paper goods & gift company providing sweet + whimsy designs, all printed in the USA and carefully assembled in their studio by husband and wife team, Lara and Brian Henning. Inspired by life & our traveling adventures, our products feature hand lettering uniquely intertwined with whimsy paintings & designs.

My family has always been at the center of everything I do or think about so naturally, our business is a family venture. My husband, Brian, helps with all of the behind-the-scenes elements, while I take the creative reigns. Our daughter helps with my design boards by contributing her artistic vision for our line (which usually involves her sketches of alien spaceships, ballerinas & dogs with eight legs). All designs & illustrations are created by myself, printed in the USA & assembled in our home studio. 

Inspiration is a bit modern vintage meets sweet + whimsy. We love the outdoors & enjoy the warmer months traveling around in our vintage 1963 camper that Brian completely renovated/salvaged himself. I like to spend time sketching & painting on our camping adventures.
